Skills and Drills

Ages: 5-7

Boys and Girls

Dates:
Sunday, August 18 to Thursday, August 22 SOLD OUT

Times:
Sunday 5:00pm – 6:20pm
Monday – Thursday 5:00pm – 5:50pm

Cost: $200

TECHNICAL CURRICULUM (ON ICE)

  • 1 hour of ice time daily
  • Program is designed for the player who can skate without assistance
  • Techniques will include: skating, stick-handling, and passing
  • Skaters will be assessed and grouped by ability

Ages: 8-10

Monday, August 12 to Friday, August 16  SOLD OUT

8:30am – 4:00pm  

Week #2:
Monday, August 19 to Friday, August 23  SOLD OUT

8:30am – 4:00pm

Cost: $450 per week

TECHNICAL CURRICULUM (ON ICE)

  • 3 hours of ice time daily
  • 1.5 hours of Skating Skills Daily
    • balance, edge control, power position, forward and backward striding, stopping and starting, power turns, crossovers, and pivots
  • 1.5 hours of Skills Daily
    • All-round skill development includes: puckhandling, passing, shooting, and scoring
    • Individual and team tactics
Off-Ice Curriculum:
  • Daily dryland training and flexibility
  • Daily hockey talk
  • Daily team building and group activities

TECHNICAL CURRICULUM (ON ICE)

  • 3 hours of ice time daily
  • 1.5 hours of power skating daily
    • balance, edge control, power position, forward and backward striding, stopping and starting, power turns, crossovers, and pivots
  • 1.5 hours daily during Skills session with warm-up and technical instruction. In net for full-ice drills, station based drills, and small area games
OFF-ICE CURRICULUM:
  • Daily dryland and flexibility training
  • Daily hockey talk
  • Daily team building and group activities
